Statoil is selling a 24.1% direct and indirect stake in the Gassled joint venture to Solveig Gas Norway.

Statoil is selling a 24.1% direct and indirect stake in the Gassled joint venture to Solveig Gas Norway. The international energy company will receive a total of around $3.22 billion from the stake sale. Following the deal, the seller will continue to own a 5% stake in the joint venture. Gassled is the owner of the integrated gas transportation grid and processing facilities on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
