Two Sigma Investments has appointed Carter Lyons, Pensions & Investments reports. He will be responsible for expanding the firm’s institutional investor base.
Previously, Lyons was managing director-institutional business in BlackRock’s San Francisco-based index fund unit. Two Sigma handled $8 billion in process-driven, systematic trading strategies until August 31.
