BlackRock has rolled out its new commodity-focused closed-end fund (CEF), Morningstar reports. The BlackRock Resources & Commodities Strategy has raised $875 million in an offering. The vehicle invests around 80% of its assets in the equity securities of commodity and natural-resources companies, derivatives with exposure to commodity or natural-resources companies, and related securities. This fund will be managed by the firm’s Global Resources team, including Kyle McClements and Christopher Accettella.
