London Stock Exchange (LSE) has released the details of its new corporate bond trading platform to be launched later this year, Reuters reports. The new trading system, which will be called MTS Credit, will offer clients the ability to trade 2,400 European investment grade, Euro-denominated corporate, financial and covered bonds.

The platform will operate as a registered pan-European multilateral trading facility (MTF). Participants will access the market through MTS’ BondVision technology. The LSE secured approval from the Cassiopeia Committee last year to progress with the project.
