Vanguard Group is ramping up its London team aimed at possible launches, FundWeb reports. As part of the changes, Christine Franquin, a London-based index fund manager, has moved to the U.S. and been replaced by David Kirby, a senior portfolio manager at Vanguard Investments Australia. The group that has £980 million in assets under management is seeking to hire more people, including a chief for the London team. Vanguard, which had a staff of 68 people in June, is aiming to increase its staff strength to 105 by the end of this year.
