BlackRock has raised $1.5 billion through a two part sale of senior notes,
Reuters reports. The first tranche of $750 million notes, which will be due on May 24, 2013, were sold at a spread of 30 basis points.
The second tranche of $750 million notes carry a coupon rate of 4.25% and will mature on May 24, 2021. The joint book-running managers for the sale were Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Barclays.
