Henderson Global Investors is planning to raise a $409 million property debt fund in the U.K., Reuters reports. The firm is likely to start fundraising before the end of the summer, said Andrew Creighton, director of property at Henderson.
The vehicle will mainly target senior debt, but will also offer junior, or mezzanine, financing. Henderson is expecting to see property returns totaling 8% over the next five years.
