iShares will start trading the iShares S&P Target Date 2050 Index Fund ETF, ETF Daily News reports. The fund already invested nearly 92% of its assets in funds that invest primarily in equity securities and 7% of its assets in funds that invest primarily in bonds, as of June 30.
The fund may invest in commodities through investments in a wholly-owned subsidiary of the fund formed in the Cayman Islands. BFA will manage the subsidiary. The fund is expected to lend securities representing up to one-third of the value of its total assets.
