Xignite, the financial market data cloud provider, has entered in a partnership with Direct Edge to develop a new cloud service for historical trade, Finextra reports. The service will also be developed for quote data, called EdgeBook Cloud, powered by Xignite’s technology platform. EdgeBook Cloud, offering access to Direct Edge historical trade and quote data, will allow customers such as compliance officers and electronic traders to retrieve order book replays of the market day. It will also extend the capability to select and obtain specific segments of historical data to use for back-testing and analysis. Allowing the customers to retrieve only the data they need in a format that best fits their analysis and testing objectives will create resource and cost efficiencies.
