Chicago-based SpryWare, a ticker plant and feed handler vendor, is rolling out On-Demand Fastor, a time-series management system for Level 2 data, Waters Technology reports. The new system, to be launched at the month-end, will enable firms to adapt their high-frequency trading strategies during the trading day.
The new tool is a third version of the Fastor database of archived time-series quote and trade data. It will capture data from the existing stream being processed by clients’ deployments of the vendor’s MIS ticker plant.
