Survey Suggests Investors Remain Hungry for Hedge Funds

High fees, closures and volatile markets don’t seem to deter most investors from the asset class, concludes a Deutsche Bank poll.

“This is our year” is a familiar cry among optimistic sports fans. The same can apparently be said for investors in hedge funds.

Investors remain bullish on hedge funds even though the average equity fund on an asset-weighted basis has lagged the Standard & Poor’s 500 stock index for each of the past seven years.
