Perceptive Advisors has launched a new venture capital fund.

The health care-focused firm headed by Joseph Edelman disclosed in a regulatory filing that it has raised $200 million for the Perceptive Xontogeny Venture Fund and a related vehicle, Perceptive Xontogeny Venture SLP. Perceptive declined to comment.
