Dan Loeb appears pretty upbeat about the prospects for the pandemic, an economy recovery, and the financial markets.

In his third-quarter client letter, the head of multistrategy firm Third Point seemed to suggest that the economy is on track for a V-shaped recovery, poised to return to its pre-pandemic levels by next summer.
