Valiant Launching Second VC Fund a Year After Starting Its First

The firm’s private investments now make up nearly a third of its assets under management.

Valiant Capital Partners is launching a new venture capital fund.

The Tiger Grandcub headed by Chris Hansen plans to trot out Valiant Peregrine Fund II this summer, according to its hedge fund’s first quarter client letter obtained by Institutional Investor. “We are super excited about the late-stage growth opportunities we are seeing,” Hansen said in the letter.
