As hedge funds harvest several years’ worth of aggressive venture capital investing, many once-private companies that recently went public are immediately ranking among the hedge funds’ largest equity holdings.

This was especially apparent in the recently filed second quarter 13F documents detailing hedge funds’ U.S.
