Adam Feinstein
Barclays
“He is the most well-informed analyst covering the space.”
Adam Feinstein, who takes the top spot for an eighth consecutive year, “knows his companies inside and out,” declares one enthusiast. There’s one health care company that he presumably knows better than the rest at this point: Laboratory Corp. of America Holdings. Feinstein, 40, left Barclays in July to become senior vice president for corporate development and strategic planning at the Burlington, North Carolina–based outfit, which operates a network of clinical laboratories across the U.S. He leaves behind a bevy of impressed clients. “His arguments are always backed up by thorough, detailed research,” says one, while another credits Feinstein with “tuning out short-term market noise and keeping his focus on fundamentals.”
