Crédit Agricole Cheuvreux’s six-member team climbs from third place to second. Half the analysts work in London; the other half, including team leader Stéphane Voisin, are based in Paris — and all are “highly responsive and very knowledgeable,” asserts one fund manager. A key issue for the team this year is remuneration as a social concern, “with shareholders, stakeholders and boards acknowledging that executive compensation must balance fairness and take social cohesion into consideration as part as their governance guidelines,” Voisin says. Such concerns transcend borders: “Social cohesion and solidarity among nations are essential to any prospect for recovery,” he adds.
