Wang’s team was out front in initiating a buy call on Luye Pharma Group, a Chinese specialty pharmaceuticals provider, when its shares were listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, in July. “The company has a proven track record of acquisition and of postacquisition business turnaround capabilities,” explains Wang, 32. Good call. By the end of last month, Luye Pharma’s stock had leaped 46.3 percent, to HK$9.95, beating the regional sector by 15.7 percentage points.
