The Archstone Partnerships
Fund-of-funds firm Archstone Partners, founded by Alfred (Fred) Shuman and Joseph Pignatelli in 1991, generally keeps a very low public profile. The New York firm’s website has less than a 50-word description of the firm for those not able to log in and the firm rarely appears in the news. That’s not to say Archstone’s founders, who serve as co-portfolio managers of the funds, are not active in the public sphere.
