The New York–based firm has added a few new products in the past year as its most popular hedge funds remain closed to new investments.

D.E. Shaw has launched at least its third new fund in the past six or seven months. The New York–based hedge fund firm disclosed in a regulatory filing that it raised more than $154 million for the D.E. Shaw Special Opportunities International Fund
