Bridgewater Rebounds in December

The world’s largest hedge fund firm remains very bearish on stocks and doesn’t expect a bottom for at least a year.

Bridgewater Associates’ main fund rebounded in December.

The macro giant and world’s largest hedge fund firm posted a roughly 1.27 percent gain last month in Pure Alpha 18 Percent — also known as PA II — a reversal from the sharp loss seen over the two prior months, according to a person familiar with the results.
