Electron Bets Big on Energy Transition

The fund, which targets clean energy, infrastructure, and utility stocks, was profitable in 2022 and is positioning itself for the future.

Electron Capital Partners’ big bet on the move away from fossil fuels and toward clean energy and renewables paid off in 2022.

The firm’s main hedge fund, the Electron Global Fund, was up 8.5 percent last year, and Electron says that its strategy emphasizing what it calls the energy transition is the number-one focus going forward.
