Bas van der Schot is a political cartoonist and illustrator
based in Amsterdam. His work, which invites viewers to consider

appears regularly in the Dutch daily De Volkskrant. In this
cartoon, he depicts Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellens
precarious position as she decides the fate of U.S. interest
rates which, presumably, can feel like deciding the fate
