Citigroup has appointed Trip Wolfe to lead venture capital coverage for North America in its technology, media and telecoms division, Bloomberg reports. In the newly created role, Wolfe will help enhance client relationships in venture capital and related private equity communities.

Previously, Wolfe was managing venture capital and private equity sponsor coverage at Union Square Advisors. Citi recently also hired Union Square co-founder, Ethan Topper, to head global technology banking.
