Leading the lineup for a second straight year is the six-strong BTG Pactual squad helmed by Gordon Lee, 40, and Marcello Milman, 32. Lee, who works out of New York, and São Paulo–based Milman also head the top-ranked team in Real Estate. The analysts follow 22 stocks and are known for their ability to “maintain a consistent view based on company fundamentals not short-term events,” in the words of one buy-side supporter. The researchers are bullish on cement producers, owing to strong demand for construction materials and services. They launched coverage on Mexico’s Cemex in April 2012 with a buy rating, at 8.63 pesos, and have highlighted their stance repeatedly since.
