JPMorgan Chase & Co. kept its position as Latin America’s best sales firm for a third straight year in Institutional Investor’s 2017 survey of buy-side analysts and money managers.

The firm was voted best in equities sales by respondents managing an estimated $225 billion in Latin American equities. BTG Pactual and Credit Suisse Group rose up the ranks to second and third place, jumping from sixth and seventh place, respectively.

Last year’s second-place firm, Bank of America Corp, dropped to No. 10. Itaú BBA, which was ranked No. 3 in 2016, fell to fifth. This year’s top five was rounded out by UBS Group, which climbed a rung higher to fourth place.

Voters ranked firms based on attributes such as understanding of client needs, access to analysts, and overall quality of relationship.
