Greenlight Capital Suffers a Setback in March

The embattled long-short fund is still up by double-digits for the quarter, but its recovery has stalled.

David Einhorn’s Greenlight Capital, the flagship fund managed by his firm of the same name, took a step backward in March, dropping 2 percent for the month.

This cut the quarterly gain for the value-oriented long-short fund to 11.3 percent, according to a person familiar with the results.
