U.K. banking and financial services company HSBC Holdings is seeking to appoint Alan Cathcart, Bloomberg reports. Cathcart will be starting work at the lender at the beginning of next year.
Cathcart, who is with U.K.’s Financial Services Authority (FSA), worked on banking stress tests as head of capital management. The FSA has revamped into two divisions to prepare for a government-mandated handover of lender supervision to the Bank of England.
