Illinois Teachers’ Retirement System, Springfield, is seeking to appoint an active global macro/tactical asset allocation manager to handle up to $500 million.

Illinois Teachers’ Retirement System, Springfield, is seeking to appoint an active global macro/tactical asset allocation manager to handle up to $500 million, Pensions & Investments reports. The $37.4 billion system has floated a request for proposal (RFP) for the purpose.

The fund is looking for managers with a minimum of $1 billion assets under management, although emerging managers can also apply. The system’s general consultant, R.V. Kuhns & Associates is assisting in the search and interested candidates are requested to send their proposals by November 11.
