Billionaire investor Carl Icahn is interested in Illinois-based truck and engine manufacturer Navistar International Corp. merging with Oshkosh Corp., Reuters reports. However, Icahn, who has a 10 percent holding in each of the companies, has not formally put this proposal forward as yet.
At present, he is in talks with Navistar about getting one or more board memberships of the company. However, he has not sought similar representation at Oshkosh up till now.
