Portland, Oregon–based independent bookstore Powell’s Books has selected SunGard Availability Services to host mission-critical applications, its e-commerce website included. SunGard will reduce the risk of outage and ensure Powell’s uptime and website availability.
Powell’s will also be using SunGard’s data center migration services for planning, managing, and executing migration to SunGard’s data center. The information and technology services provider’s contractually backed service-level agreements and compliance to PCI-DSS compliance standards will provide added benefits to Powell’s.
