Brammo Inc., a developer of electric vehicle technology and manufacturer of two-wheeled electric vehicles, has secured $28 million in series B venture capital financing. Polaris Industries, a manufacturer of snowmobiles, ATV, and neighborhood electric vehicles, headed the final tranche of the investment round.
NorthPort Investments and existing shareholder Alpine Energy also participated in the round. The funding will be used to boost the company’s development plans. In addition, Flextronics is jointly drawing up the battery packaging design for Brammo and also providing the design for its manufacturing (DfM) services.
