Manulife Asset Management has recruited James Chen as senior managing director, institutional sales and relationship management head in Asia, The Asset reports. Based in Hong Kong, he will manage institutional business development across Asia and will also manage the relationship management, client service, product management and sales administration teams within the Asia region.
Chen will be reporting to president and head of Manulife Asset Management Asia Michael Dommermuth, with a functional reporting line to head of global organization J-F Courville. Most recently, Chen was managing director at Vision Investment Management.
