Chile’s CMPC Secures $600M In Loan

Chile’s forestry and paper company Empresas CMPC has secured a $600 million credit facility.

Chile’s forestry and paper company Empresas CMPC has secured a $600 million credit facility, Reuters reports. The credit line provided by a syndicate of international banks will be used for financing the company’s debt and investments.

Inversiones CMPC, the investment division of the paper company, finalized the agreement for the credit facility with the banks. The lenders included Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Bank of America Corp., Export Development Canada and JPMorgan Chase Bank.
