HSBC To Boost Asian Product Distribution

HSBC Holdings is looking to strengthen its offshore clientele for its Asia product offering.

HSBC Holdings is looking to strengthen its offshore clientele for its Asia product offering, The Wall Street Journal reports. In line with this, it has appointed Apratim Chakravarty as head of offshore Asian product distribution in Asian global markets. In a newly created role, Chakravarty will be required to facilitate investment flows from Europe and the U.S. into Asia. He will be responsible for meeting the demand for the bank’s Asian foreign exchange, rates and credit products among offshore clients, adds FinanceAsia.
