Raiffeisen Bank Romania has secured a €150 million syndicated loan.

Raiffeisen Bank Romania has secured a €150 million syndicated loan, Reuters reports. The first loan of €40 million comes from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the second part of the loan, which was raised from an initial €80 million to €110 million, will come from other banks. The credit facility will be used to finance energy-efficiency investments by Romanian companies with long-term loans of about €2.5 million each, adds Romania-Insider.com. The senior lead arranger was YPO NOE Gruppe Bank, lead arranger was Pohjola Bank and the co-arranger Adria Bank Aktiengesellschaft Nova KMB Group. For the second part of the loan, initial mandated lead arrangers and book runners include BNP Paribas and Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft.
