Northern Trust Corp. has re-entered the market with four FlexShares funds, Index Universe reports. The FlexShares Morningstar U.S. Market Factor Tilt Index Fund will have a small-cap and value tilt while tracking a Morningstar index that assigns more weight to small-cap and value stocks than a traditional cap-weighted methodology. The FlexShares Morningstar Global Upstream Natural Resources Index Fund will consist of emerging and developed market firms involved in the ownership, management or production of resources, including energy, agriculture and timber. The other two are the FlexShares iBoxx 3-Year Target Duration TIPS Index Fund and the FlexShares iBoxx 5-Year Target Duration TIPS Index Fund.
