Hamilton Lane is seeking to establish an office in Rio de Janeiro to operate as an asset manager in Brazil. The financial institution has appointed Ricardo Fernandez Silva and Filipe Caldas as vice presidents to help expand the firm’s foothold in the country.
Silva and Caldas are former vice presidents of Capital Dynamics, where they were a part of the investment management and business development groups, respectively. They will provide local expertise to Hamilton Lane’s clients, such as institutions and investors based in Brazil, throughout Latin America and around the world.
