The Slovenian stock exchange will enable companies that list shares in Ljubljana to have a secondary listing on the Vienna Stock Exchange.

The Slovenian stock exchange will enable companies that list shares in Ljubljana to have a secondary listing on the Vienna Stock Exchange, Bloomberg reports. The move will provide Slovenian investment firms and investors with new opportunities and give listed companies straightforward access to foreign investors. The alignment is expected to be implemented at the start of 2012. In 2010, the Ljubljana exchange rolled out the Xetra trading platform to attract investors from outside Slovenia.
