Chung Mong-Koo, Chairman of Hyundai Motor, will allocate approximately $462 million to charity, AFP reports. The money will be given to a charity group set up by the automaker.
Mong-Koo will award shares in Hyundai Motor subsidiary Hyundai Glovis to support children from poor families. The grant is the biggest personal donation ever made in South Korea.
