Samsung Asset Management is seeking to start a global fund this year.

Samsung Asset Management is seeking to start a global fund this year, Bloomberg reports. The South Korean fund manager’s fund will target debt of China, Indonesia, Korea and Japan.

The vehicle, which will mainly invest in Asian debt, will also include other attractive securities and seek an annual return of 7%. Samsung’s maiden dim sum debt fund, which targets yuan bonds in Hong Kong, was launched in January.
