The Wallace Foundation is investing a total of $75 million in six urban school districts. The money will be used to develop a bigger pool of school principals and to assess its effectiveness in student achievements across the Gwinnett County. The foundation will give each district between $7.5 million and $12.5 million over the next five years to develop, hire and support new school principals. It will also make additional grants, which includes $600,000 for the Education Development Center, to support the districts to strengthen and complete their principal pipelines.
