Makram Abboud is joining VTB Capital in a senior role, Bloomberg reports. In the new role, he will assist the bank to expand in the Middle East.
Abboud is joining VTB from Nomura, where he was managing director of the emerging markets team. VTB also appointed Atanas Bostandjiev from Goldman Sachs in May as U.K. and international head.
