Sierra Foundation Forms Scholarship Fund

The Sierra College Foundation has set up a $1 million scholarship fund.

The Sierra College Foundation has set up a $1 million scholarship fund, Business Journal reports. The scholarship fund will provide money to establish 50 annual $1,000 scholarships in perpetuity. The fund was created with approximately $660,000 from donors along with matching funds from the Osher Foundation. Organizations such as Wells Fargo, Kaiser Permanente, Nevada County Coordinating Council for Sierra College and Sutter Medical Center, made the grants.
