Emerging Global Shares (EGShares) has rolled out a new emerging market exchange-traded fund (ETF) in the market. The EGShares Emerging Markets High Income Low Beta ETF is designed to be less volatile than the funds based on the MSCI Emerging Markets Index. The new portfolio is passively managed and does not use options, swaps or other derivatives. The fund, which has started trading on NYSE Arca, will replicate the INDXX Emerging Market High Income Low Beta Index.
