Lyndon B Foundation Names Deputy Dev Head

Mary Herman has joined the Lyndon B Johnson Foundation as deputy director of development.

Mary Herman has joined the Lyndon B Johnson Foundation as deputy director of development. She will be responsible for directing the foundation’s fund-raising activities as well as providing guidance for the development of strategic plans for the LBJ Foundation, the LBJ Library and Museum as well as the LBJ School of Public Affairs.

Most recently, Herman was working as executive director of the Texas Book Festival. Prior to that, she served at the Austin Community Foundation, the University of Texas at Austin, the University Medical Center Brackenridge Hospital, Communities in Schools, Helping Hand for Children, St Andrew’s Episcopal School and the Junior League of Austin.
