Western Asset Management has named Damon Shinnick as a portfolio manager and senior credit analyst for its Australian fixed income team, Investor Daily reports. In the new role, he will be responsible for developing portfolio strategy and supplementing credit research in Australia and New Zealand.
Shinnick will also help develop new products in corporate and structured credit for Australian investors. Most recently, he was working with Pension Corporation as a partner and previously has also served at Lehman Brothers Asset Management Australia and Challenger Financial Services.
