Lazard has hired Peter Kuo as managing director and head of equity capital markets advisory in Asia. In his new role, he will be based in Hong Kong and be responsible for capital raising as well as capital structure advisory related to mergers and acquisitions in Asia.
Kuo joins from a wholly-owned Asia subsidiary of Cowen and Company, where he was serving as a managing director. He has previously also worked at Davis Polk & Wardwell.
