Rosemont Buys Westmount’s Minority Stake

Private equity firm Rosemont Investment Partners has acquired a minority stake in Westmount Asset Management for an undisclosed sum.

Private equity firm Rosemont Investment Partners has acquired a minority stake in Westmount Asset Management for an undisclosed sum, Pensions & Investments reports. The investment will facilitate an equity recapitalization at the Los Angeles-based investment management firm.

Westmount’s COO Christopher Werner and senior vice president Michael Amash will now become partners of Rosemont. Silver Lane Advisors advised Westmount, which oversees roughly $1.4 billion in assets under management, on the deal.
