HSBC has named Rohit Joshi as the new head of global payments and cash management for Singapore, FinanceAsia reports. He will succeed Iain Taylor, who has been appointed as global head of marketing for the global transaction banking business at HSBC.In the new role, Joshi will expand the firm’s franchise in the country and head the execution of the bank’s accelerated investment across the region. Most recently, he was based in Hong Kong, working as senior manager for commercial banking and heading a team to develop HSBC’s strategy and franchise in the region.
